Just an FYI, this is the Keystone expansion project. The Keystone pipeline project fought under the Obama admin is already built.
With that said if Keystone Pipeline decides to fight it, it's going to be a long court battle.
ETA: map. See dotted line for proposed expansion.
ETA2: should have read the permit first before relying on media reports.
Looks like Biden can unilaterally shut down the transportation of crude via pipeline across the US/Canada border on the Keystone pipeline for no reason at all. LINK

I do think Biden has historically been a moderate Dem but he's being controlled by the far left that run that party now. Any Dem elected to president will try to implement their agenda. That alone is a reason for me to never to vote for one.

yeah.....that will be something he should sit on for awhile if not leave it alone. if he wants to get towards unifying the country, he needs to understand something need to be static including the 2nd amendment items.

Expansion is one thing, but the existing pipeline is quite another.
By what authority and for what reason can he shut down something that is working and not causing a catastrophe?
Unhinged lunatic leftists wailed about Trump being a dictator for years.
Well, if Biden does this, then THIS is what dictatorship looks/acts like.

Saudis and Chinese going to love that retard.
We had an environmental jackass tell us they weren't going to rest until the pH in the lake near us was 0. A 7 wasn't good enough.
0 is a pure acid, 7 is neutral and what you want. These people have no idea what they speak of.

When Capline (which is larger and connects with Enbridge from Canada) announced its reversal, Keystone XL was not going to be completed by building the final leg.
Note: Capline is larger and already installed since 1968.

He does not care about “unifying” the country. Unifying the country to democrats mean full acceptance of what they want.

The left wants to run the economy on nice thoughts, unicorn urine, and sunshine.
99% of solar power equipment is made in China. Aren’t we lucky that the Biden family sold out to China years ago!

Company I work for, our products were specd in to all heavy machinery that would work on this expansion. Probably $10-$15 million in sales.
Thanks Sleepy Joe.

It’s already built. What’s the point?
Let’s shut down a new, perfectly safe pipeline and keep transporting oil via railroad which not only is more risky, less efficient, the trains burn fuel which is bad for the environment. Makes sense

The first thing Trump did when he came into office was attend the 2017 Riyadh Summit and negotiated a deal with Mohammed bin Salman. The deal was that the Saudis would increase oil production in exchange for arms sales.
In combination with the energy boom happening in the U.S. this gave us cheap gasoline. Trump knew that the key to a booming economy was cheap energy. It worked. It worked until COVID.
Now that the Saudis see Biden come in they have already cut production and the price of oil has increased. Biden will do everything in his power to increase the price of energy. Ironically, if the price of natural gas increases sufficiently under Biden then dirty coal will once again become viable.

Is the pipeline even operational? I know that Trump took it to SCOTUS and SCOTUS ruled against him.

Yeah, I thought the “keystone pipeline“ was already built. When I heard this on the news without explanation, I was wondering what in the hell they were doing for the past four years if not getting a damn thing done? But then again, trying to rely on even talk radio news updates doesn’t give you much information.
Biden still sucks.
Biden still sucks.
