but because of how often he’s done shite like that while he’s been a Saint. He’s an absolute liability that should be cut.
I don’t usually agree with statements like this after emotional losses like that, but you’re 100% correct.. he’s been a liability on the field for most of the season

I knew it was game over after that.
I have seen enough Saints games in general the last 40 years, and enough Saints playoff games (all of them) to know that this is absolutely the truth.
I had an all too familiar feeling come over me when that happened...one of realization that that would be the play that turned the tide. Obviously I wasn't the only one.

As soon as he caught that and started running up field I knew he would fumble. He has been garbage all year and a terrible pickup. Saints sure know how to sign these retards. That was the play of the game. It was a huge momentum swing the Saints were never able to over come. It was a 10-14 point swing which is huge. Saints didn't take advantage of their opportunities. 3 missed interception. 21 points off turnovers.

But at that point in the game we were driving for killshot and he fumbles, absolutely pathetic
His fumble was the spark they needed and completely sunk our spirit.
We just couldnt overcome the flip of going up 10 or 14 to tied in the blink of an eye.
Not to mention we already gave up a pic 6 basically.
We spotted them 14 points.
What a Saints way to end a season.
Sad. fricking Cook and Drew killed us this game. We deserved to lose.

Cook was responsible for 2 turnovers. That last interception bounced right off of his chest first. Guy is a liability.

Lets blame Cook and give noodle arm a pass. Brees lost this game for the Saints with another playoff choke job.

Brees's first half turnovers were essentially irrelevant given the situation of the game when Cook fumbled.

When a qb can't throw down field with any zip, you eliminate half the field on defense. Bunch the middle and outside and you have tight throwing lanes. He's old and that injury took alot out of Drew. Great qb not withstanding the political crap. It's like the Lab thread on the OT when is it time to be put a dog down. It's time for Drew to be put down.

and yet.... without the Cook fumble, that noodle arm QB you despise so much probably wins the game....

What does the fact that a mid 3rd quarter turnover (that led to a a tie) felt like an insurmountable lead for your QB/offense say about how you feel for your QB/offense?

I became very skeptical about our chances to win after we settled for 2 short FGs on the first 2 drives. It brought me back to the 2018 NFC championship game when the exact thing happened. But when we got up 7 and were driving again with them unable to stop us, I thought we were in control of the game. It's amazing how the game changed after that 1 play. We only ran 14 plays for 35 yards the rest of the game.

I agree. Our D needed to step up right then and there. A home crowd would've been so damn huge. But after that score we were done. Over.

You people are insane putting it all on Cook. Brees was horrible. Those first 2 pics were absolutely terrible and dumb throws that led directly to 14 points.
Yeah, but Cook has played soft all year. Clean out his locker, he should be much better than he is.
I tried to tell everybody that would listen, Cook plays soft and let his team down when they needed him.

That clearly was a turning point. Honestly tho if the saints capitalize off the first punt return and we don’t have the pointless block in the back on the td return it’s a completely different game. Arians would over react like always, abandon the run and allow our d line to put their ears back and get after Brady. Even with some balance they couldn’t muster long sustained drives and only scored off turnovers.
We “lost” that game at multiple points last night. And it took every single one of those things for tb to leave with a w. One of those go our way and we are worrying about how brees will be throwing in freezing lambeau this weekend.

Huge, huge turning point in the game. We go up at least 10 but the way our O was moving at that point it's 14 pts and no way in hell the Bucs are making that difference up the way they played.

MT13 quit during this game.
Brees should not have had to continue going to Cook.
The star WR needs some blame.
It's easy to criticize a player that's trying.
MT13 simply checked out and was ready for the offseason.

I'd you could not see Drew was awful idk what to tell you. The whole reason the Bucs were able to get most those turnovers is because Drew can't throw the ball anymore and made life easy for the Bucs. They just sat on routes. Cookk failed us in this playoff game. And so did Drew.

Brady was nothing spectacular, he was very average
Lol . He just seems to win a lot of playoff / Superbowls! Nothing special, nothing at all.

Past superbowls has nothing to do with how average Brady played last night. He had a short field to work with for all 3 TDs. Other than that, he was below average.

Great players always find a way to win even when they are not playing well. And they just hv a knack for winning.
