This loss has me numb.

My stupid arse thought we would win it all again this year, just like the last 4 years, yet they get embarrassing losses to end the year pretty much every single season. And yes Brees' arm was toast but with him gone, not sure what we do at QB, and not sure if we'll ever come close to another Super Bowl again any time soon.
Fitting ending I guess. Horrible horrible horrible loss. Par for the course for Saints fans the past few years I guess. fricking sucks.

After the rams loss I no longer feel any emotion when the season ends. To be honest though I think if we won this we would get rocked in the NFC title

What makes me sad is remembering leaving the Dome after the No Call thinking that was it - the last legitimate chance of a SB for a very long time.

Losses don’t affect me like that anymore. They used to so I get it. But after that Rams playoff game, I really started divesting from the NFL. After they went Woke, I started tuning out. I did watch my first full games last week and this week, but it’s like seeing an old girlfriend. A loss sucks, but I’ll forget about when I wake up.

The Saints were not beating green bay in 25 F Weather next weekend. Only one out of 32 teams end the season with a championship. Either Brady, Rodgers, or Mahomes is ending up a loser this season.

We are close to being like the 90's Bills. 4 terrible losses in a row to end the playoffs. I guess its not as bad but very close.

I’ve been numb since 2017 lol. I figured we’d have the players to make the playoffs but that game really fricked this team up mentally. We have looked so flat on offense ever since.

not sure why... this was one year, despite the record we ended up having, where I just never really did feel like we were one of the true teams to beat... as soon as we lost the #1 seed I knew we had a very, very long shot getting back to the Super Bowl, much less actually winning it....
2018 was the last season I can definitely say that I thought/felt we were going to win it all... last season came close, but there was just something that was lacking, but this season just seemed like we were punching above our weight class, but eventually we'd have to come back to earth, and sure enough, that's exactly what happened....
