Trades we need:

Lonzo to Houston for Tucker and House
JJ to Brooklyn for Dinwiddie
Bledsoe to Boston into their TPE

Sign Isiah Thomas to a minimum deal as a vet backup guard

Opens up the playing time Kira and NAW needs, gives JJ his championship opportunity, and we lose no veteran presence.

Also, opens up our full 9.3 million non taxpayer MLE to use in the buyout market if the right player becomes available and we choose to use it.

You're not getting Tucker and House for Lonzo...he doesn't carry that much value and Houston, arguably, got better after the Harden trade. Tucker fits better now than he did before.

I know I've said this in other threads but the move, again, is Lonzo, Melli, and a 2nd for Aminu...we actually save $2m. And you also save on the cap next year without having Zo's cap hold as a RFA. Kick the problem to someone else. Can use that $6m saved for an Ilyasova or try to move JJ or Bledsoe into someone's exception to sign Ilyasova and Daniels. Those are the type of vets that are low usage that won't command big minutes but still help us grow.

I'd move JJ before Bledsoe. The Brooklyn deal makes sense or you can move him to Philly for Korkmaz or Ferguson

Bledsoe - Kira - Dinwiddie (injured)
NAW - Hart - Daniels
Ingram - Aminu - Korkmaz
Zion - Ilyasova - Gabriel
Adams - Hayes - Hernangomez

Why would you trade JJ for Dinwiddie? He is likely out for the year and has an option for next year. I would think we could get more for JJ than a salary dump.

What does Boston give us for Bledsoe and why do they want him? Would that have tax implications for Boston?

Those are all terrible deals.
Dinwiddie is going to opt out, so you just traded JJ for nothing.
Lonzo is worth more than Tucker/House.
Do you honestly think Bledsoe is worth absolutely nothing? and he's redundant with Smart, and that would put the Celtics into the tax.

Bledsoe isn't going anywhere until the offseason. Teams that would want him have nothign to give us, and most teams aren't looking to take on future salary for someone like Bledsoe.

Lonzo and Lakers 22 1st for Markannen, Temple, Bulls 21 2nd.
Redick to Celtics into their TPE for their 21 1st. Celtics still stay out the tax with that.

Bled should go to Houston if Wall/Boogie have the influence now.
