Ironic as you're such a tough guy constantly admonishing a one world currency, reset and the dangers therein.

WHo the hell accepts BTC as payment?
Where does this guy go to get his $220M in real money if he ever retrieves it?
I know nothing about this hokey bullshite.
Simply transfer it to coinbase wallet and convert to us dollars, takes a whole 2 seconds.
Btc is less currency and more a storage of wealth. Think of it as modern day gold

It needs a capital but no special characters.
You can thank me later!

When was the last time you put $220 million into a "coinbase wallet" and tried to easily access it for use?

Are stocks just pieces of paper too? Is gold just a rock?
I mean in the end a dollar is just a thin piece of paper.
.its crazy to me that it's 2021 and their are still people who don't have the smallest idea on what bitcoin or other cryptocurrency are and why someone may value them.
How out of touch with reality do you have to be? That's like saying stocks are nothing but worthless paper because even if you technically own a very small percentage of the company you can so anything with it.
Let's say you want have 220 million in gold and you need to transport to market or across country....do you realize how much that would cost and how unfeasible it is?
Or you could send that same amount of wealth to somewhere instantly or convert to usd in a fdic insured USA bank. Your choice.
fricking idiots man.

FDIC insured? You'd need close to 1000 separate accounts to get that on your 220 million.

Something that important he needed to tattoo it somewhere on his body.

It was probably mined years ago and not anywhere worth it’s current value.

lmao, I bet it's one of the ones he tried...he just mistyped/misspelled something.

Did it not work when you attempted it?
Like any other transaction of that size, whether BTC is involved or not, I'd suggest a bit more strategy than dropping all of it into your capital one checking account all at once.

Well I could transfer 220 million in btc to coinbase easily. Hell 10,000,000 in bitcoin was literally transferred from an unknown hard wallet to binance exchange 37 min ago.
Now selling off 220 million instantly would make the market crash and the market price you would get would not be good. So you sell a million at a time and with bitcoin having a volume of over 61k btc bought and sold daily...well selling 28 btc is not going to be shite. Hell you could do 10x that, selling in 10 million dollar increments every 12 hours and it prolly wouldn't affect the market much.
As far as transferring to your own bank....are you suggesting a government regulated industry would not let you do that? Because you realize this is happening daily.
Go look at whale alert on Twitter. Hell someone transferred 3000 btc, about 104 million worth from a hard wallet to coinbase about an hour ago.

I think you are missing the idea that there are heaps of logistical issues in easily transferring and accessing $220 million in ANY FORM. You're not being "special smart" in trying to assert that the bitcoin aspect may not create some additional hurdles here.

No shite, I was simply pointing out that coknbase is just like any other bank.

The issues are regulatory not physical as in gold. Also I covered this above, sure you can't sell all 220 million at once, just like you couldn't do a stock the same way or gold, it would crash the market.
10million at a time yea its not blinking st that.

And for the record easiest thing to do is transfer direct to tether treasury and have it converted to cash using a stable coin. Then you can withdraw to coinbase and not worry much about fluctuations and withdraw easily.
Hell 200 million and 400 million orders have done just that in the last 24 hours.

This is why Bitcoin is stupid. Way too hard to use and hold.
It really does get at what I think is stupid about Bitcoin. Superficially, you'd think, "it's all computerized, so you can't really steal it or lose it." Actually, though, the whole thing is set up to closely mimic what a piece of currency is like. Each Bitcoin is some magic number that satisfies some mathematical formula but it super-costly to make. Lose the number and it's just like burning up a $100 bill.
What really brought this home for me was when someone "stole" a bunch of Bitcoins from the National Bank of Bangladesh. How the frick do you steal something from a computerized banking system? That's just a piss-poor design. You ought to be able to press a key and put the money back where it belongs.
Posted on 1/12/21 at 12:32 pm to HailHailtoMichigan!
Worst part of all this is his OT baller status is on the line.

Well you can but the number of bitcoins are finite and the dates of release is already scheduled so who are you stealing it from to get it back?
It would be like someone robbing a bank full of gold and saying...just put the gold back. Doesnt work that away
