Can we officially put to rest “LSU can get whoever they want!”

I don't take it that way. Clearly a perceived quality of life thing for his family in what will ultimately be a stepping stone, 2-yr max, stint.

It does but he is probably thinking about uprooting his family for one year to La, vs staying in his area near his parents before he takes his HC job.

Much less pressure for the young man, and better chance at HC role

It was his decision. He didn't wanna come here and thats fine. Good luck to Coach Freeman and his family.

That’s not a good look for O. It falls squarely on him after this bad year.

To add insult to injury, we are being used as a bargaining chip, again.

I am not making fun at all. Hiring coaches is not as easy as it sounds with everybody making good money these days . Hell wait til Saban retires ... hiring a coach will be a shitshow

So 4th and goal from the 1 @ Mizzou happened all over again. Coach O has turned into Coach uh-oh. This looks terrible for the program and Coach O since he shot his shot in public and came up with an airball.
