Anyone remember this place? Opened to great fanfare (on Loyola by the former Dave & Busters) only to close for good the very next day. Never heard what happened or why.

Heard rumors about reopening and looked at the website. Said it was reopening in early 2021.

That's all I got. Thought it was sort of interesting/strange.

Is this a good chain? It’s bad if it is reopening there. There ladies in my office go crazy for donuts and it’s right down the street

The first I heard of it was in reading about its bizarre closing.

They are good. Have one here in KC. The Homer is my favorite

It’s absolutely terrible. Dry, not made fresh, overly topped donuts

Is it ran by a Cambodian family? It seems that every donut shop is a Cambodian family serving up the same shitty donuts all across south LA.

We used to have one in Katy until they moved to a different location. We went ONCE in the few years they were here. The majority of their donuts have a cake consistency and are over the top in sweetness. The variety of options are fun, but in the end our family just prefers regular donut options.

I'm not a fan and am fairly close to the one in Kansas City. They always seem stale and overly sweet. Would much rather have a traditional donut from a local place than anything from there

Agree with kclandcruiser about the location in KC. It’s a shitty, dry donut covered with ridiculous toppings so people can get likes on Instagram.

Also, good to see some KC peeps in here.
