How long?

Was it anything or just nothingness?

I can't imagine the feeling of waking up and having no clue what day it is.

I sat with my grandmother while she was in a coma. I had to go home for a while and she died while I was gone. I think she didn't want to leave as long as I was there.

The Movie Coma (1978) will make you afraid to have an operation in a hospital. It scared me as a 11 year old.

I was by my grandmothers side for multiple days and i knew her time was coming. I would talk to her and hold her hand everyday.

So finally after all that, one day i went to leave and told her it was ok, she could go. No need to keep suffering. I love you and it’s ok to go now. I will see you later on when it’s my time.

An hour later, i got the call that she was gone.

My dad was in a coma for a month, and then slowly woke up over the next 3 months. He never fully recovered from brain damage, and require assisted living for the final 10 years.

Spent one month in a coma in 2016.

I was in a dream state for much of it. I would see and hear people who were in the room with me but in my mind they were incorporated into whatever dream I was having.

Overall, I'd rate being in a coma at 1 out of five stars.

Sorry to hear that. It's been four years and I'm just fully recovering. In the movies people just hop up out of bed but it took over a year just to learn to walk again.

What happened to put you in a coma?

It was never determined specifically. I developed sepsis after a surgery, went in for emergency surgery, and just didn't wake up for a month after.

Yes. Cracked skull via a bike crash at the age of 8 and definitely wasn't wearing a helmet to ride a bike in the early 80's. Out for about a week. Remember my first wake up meal of jello which I cannot stand to this day! Had to learn how to walk again which didn't take too long. Events that happened before the crash is still fuzzy and have siblings which remind me of certain things that happened.

Not really sure. I mean, what's your perception of time when you're dreaming? It was just like that.

Yes had the Rona back in January, before it was cool or even had a name. Was in the hospital for 3 months and on the vent in a coma for 18 days. shite was weird brother. Crazy dreams and shite, woke up very confused and lost to say the least. Almost died my man. Was septic and all my organs were shutting down. Had to do dialysis for a while but kidneys came back strong. Finally lost that cough in July but the joint pain is killer. Also the fatigue is the worst and still get it on certain days. That shite is real
