Holy shite, Choctaw has a website now? Lmao, the new owner took it into this century. I hope they still have the desk being held up with phone books and definitely still hope there’s cigar smoking going on in the office.

Calandros, Rouses and Hi Nabor will cut it for you. Just ask the butchers. I bought a whole shoulder clod a month ago from Hi Nabor on Jones Creek and it was 25 lbs.

But all three will accommodate. Whole Foods will too but it will be a little more expensive.

Rouse’s will cut you one any size. Just talk to them at the meat counter and tell em what you want. Usually have it ready for you in about 5 minutes. Last week their rump roast was on sale I think it was 2.99/lb.

Iverstines

I was in there a couple weeks ago and bought a couple chickens that were from Mahaffey Farms in Haughton, LA. I asked and the guy at the register told me he got rid of all of his animals and was concentrating on the market. They were getting poultry out of Lake Charles but the storms knocked them out. Even went as far to say the land was for sale.

But just a quick check and his website is up to date so not sure what’s up. I know farming like he was is hard to do and if I recall he had other family involved so maybe too many mouths to feed.

Either way the chickens were fine and the rest looked good too even if from other farms.
