Does LSU need to make a move now?

With Bama losing their OC, Texas bringing in a new HC and possibly new coordinators, shouldn’t we get on the ball before we’re competing for the same big names?
Do y’all think we have our guys lined up already, just waiting to announce?

That’s what I’m thinking. I think LSU has unbelievable resources, but I’m not confident competing against Texas money and Bama’s ability to reel in anything they want.

If it’s an NFL hire for OC, LSU might have to wait a few weeks. On DC, Freeman should be decided in a few days.

Its to late now. Saban gets who he wants. Im not sure what has been the hold up for us (Unless we've been waiting on somebody that was on one of the 4 playoff staffs).

Who the hell would want to come here? We have a coach with no losing seasons, an SEC championship and a National Championship with the greatest LSU team in history, but lets fire him because it might be easy to replace him currently. Who the hell would ever want to coach in such a place?

All schools don’t necessarily always compete against each other for openings.

I think we already have our defensive staff lined up but can’t announce it yet because the coach we are going to land is still coaching in college.

Agreed but I’m an impatient person. I do think that LSU should have had major staff announcements before today done.

Pete Golding the DC for Alabama. From Hammond, LA. I think Trev Faulk will be the LB coach and probably Bo Davis as the DL coach. I think this combination of coaches would yield a violent defense and the ability to recruit with the best of them especially in Louisiana.
