I’d tell them to act like they’ve been there before, but it’s the postseason and OU isn’t getting blown out, so they actually haven’t.

They actually think they’ve done something which is pretty sad. The announcers are pumping it up too like OU hasn’t he their arse handed to them on the regular by SEC teams in games that actually mattered.

I would like to have OU's oline coach. Big difference between our ability to run and OU's against Fla. They are good.

Maybe, but there is a big difference in what Florida is playing for now versus what they were potentially playing for against us. They still had a shot at the playoffs when they played us.

Yes, it counts as a win, but this just another of many examples where both teams don't get up equally for non-playoff bowl games. One is when that girl's school boise st. beat ou about 15 years back. They had to pull a half dozen trick plays out of their arse to BARELY beat the Sooners. Now I enjoyed that upset, but reasonably you gotta believe if that was a playoff game, ou wins.
LSU has lost several bowl games with disinterested teams before. Iowa and Wisconsin come to mind as teams we've lost to after serious letdowns at the end of the regular season. Hell, even syracluse beating us 30 years ago came after we lost the bid to the Sugar because they wanted an sec fan base that would travel and rent hotel rooms. And remember, the opposing fans chant "sec" when they win these bowls, so they are usually sky high.
What can be done about this? Not much. Football is a game where if one team is playing their super bowl, and the other isn't, you get uneven performances.

There’s no excuse for Florida’s performance last night. I love to see Mullen get his arse kicked. I like to see Florida fall.
But last night Florida was just a complete embarrassment to the SEC.
Disinterested in beating the number 6 team in the country, AND it’s OU!?
That’s unacceptable. Especially at Florida.
Mullen making us all look bad. And showing he doesn’t know how to consistently keep a team motivated. It’s crazy to think another year like this and Mullen’s seat could start warming up.
