He's not making quick decisions, he's scared to throw further than 10 yards and then when he actually throws the ball downfield he is very inaccurate.

He's been pretty bad today

Yeah surprising to me he is so gun shy. Must be throwing picks in practice and they got in his ear.

Dolphins had no choice but to bench him

Tua is used to having 20 seconds to throw the ball with receivers being open by 10 yards before throwing.

To a bench he goes

I think Tua will end up being a very good QB in the NFL, but Herbert slinging it downfield for the Dolphins would have been fun this year.

These WRs arent 5 yards open downfield, cmon man.

Should I link the two bombs he completed to Devonta Smith against Derrick Stingley last year. They were both way farther than 5 yards.

No QB with a successful future ahead him in the NFL would be happily smiling and posing for pictures with fellow loser Marcus Mariota in that spot.

Dude is a cuck FR and if Miami doesn’t keep Fitz in they will be one and done for sure

I see reading comprehension is difficult for you.

Herbert has been fantastic, but he’s also slinging it downfield to Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. The Dolphins have to start Mack Hollins right now.

Great point!! On the first TD, Stingley was looking over at the sidelines and was about 10-15 yards behind Smith. On the 2nd, Smith just beat him and was about 5-10 yards open. Like you said, he had LEGIT WR’s at Bama and a line that gave him all day plus the confidence of knowing he had all day to throw. When he was pressured and had to play teams that were on-par with Bama, he struggled. Not saying he won’t make it in the NFL, just saying his struggles now are in-common with his struggles against teams in college that fielded NFL-style rosters on defense.

This has always been the case for QBs at powerhouses.

It's a real hard evaluation for pundits and scouts to evaluate them because their team in College is just so much better and their O-line gives them all day.

Same thing happened with Leinart, amazing college career but had a massive O-line that made great running backs and gave him all the time in the world.

And in the Pros he became Captain Checkdown.

I swear, if you want to be an awesome NFL QB, frick Bama and Clemson, etc these days...sign with some mediocre program and learn and progress and face hardship.

shite, Elway went to shitty Stanford, when they were really shitty and Bradshaw - well...Dan Fouts went to Oregon when they were probably the worst program in the nation.

Taking the easy route to the NFL for a LOT of these Alabama players has not paid off as they got exposed at the next level...where's Trent?

And Fitz went to Harvard.

Not really a selling point to the NFL.

Tua has been benched twice this year so far. Yikes.

Fitzmagic gives the team the best chance to win, IYAM.
