There are plenty of teams who are disappointed with their bowl selection who lay an egg. There are plenty of teams that make the playoffs who get stomped. This is a terrible take.

I am a pretty big ND fan, but this statement is wrong. We beat the backups of the same team.
And, ND has repeatedly shown we do not belong in the CFP. We get blown out every time we are put in a major post season spot.

There weren’t any worthy #4 teams this year. ND already got crushed by Clemson. Coastal would’ve been crushed. A&M already crushed by Bama.
