Frankly I think anyone dumb enough to think that toothpick will be drafted before the most pro ready college receiver in the last 10 drafts, should get off this board.

You’re so bothered by this you started your own thread repeating this same thing. Kinda sad.

What you are telling me is you know nothing about the NFL
the chiefs literally asked mahomes who he wanted and he said Clyde. Look it up, completely documented fact. A smart organization asks their QB who they want, especially if he played college ball with them and they want someone at that position. A QB and WR need timing and trust like no other position in sports. If they go WR, and are in position for this, they will ask him which one he prefers

Chase and it isn’t even close. Most have Chase going at 5 to Miami. Smith is all over the board from 11 to 30 for the most part. Some drafts have waddle ahead of Smith.

The question should be after Chase who is the second WR taken? Smith or Waddle.

The only people that down play Chase are butt hurt LSU fans. They are the part of the fan base that can go away. They should become Alabama fans because all they are is bandwagoners anyway.

Chase quit on his team. I hope Smith does better than Chase in the draft.

I’ll go with Jefferson above both of those.

I think Chase has substantially more upside than Smith. He will probably prove more durable in addition to being more talented.

Chase. Way more physical and incredible body control.

Were you born in ‘67 or did you graduate college in ‘67? Either way, you and your way of thinking are old.

Then you’re a fricking dumbass.

Smith quit on his state. At least Jamaar was true to his state. He took a huge chance going to LSU when we weren’t very good to receivers. He stayed home while Smith got his barber paid and sold us out to our most hated rival.

So, you're saying younger people are ok with quitters. Not surprising.

I’d say younger people are more open to the fact that this past year, with all its weirdness, has uncommon considerations that are not black and white.

Judging from LSU’s season and the overall oddity of canceled games throughout college football, Chase made the right decision to better his career. He already won an NC, he knew this team wouldn’t be in contention, and he stayed healthy. He didn’t just quit.
