Besides Desean Jackson, will Smith be the only 175 pound wide receiver in the NFL? That’s significantly underweight and a significant durability concern IMO. I don’t think teams will want to send devonta over the middle much, which would limit his utility in an offense.

Chase does everything well, he will be taken first.

Isn’t it incredible?

Dude signs with LSU, wins the Biletnikoff Award, helps LSU have the greatest season in the history of college football.

Then you have Amite’s Devonte Smith, who spurned home state LSU for their biggest rival. Pushed to Bama by that fat bitch piece of shite Amite barber. Now LSU fans love him because he stayed for 4 years.

You all suck mightily

Lol at all the pathetic butt hurt figs in this thread pissed at Chase. Nothing like our loser fans put all their self worth in LSU football players and shitting on them like the player owes them something.

I would take Chase all day. Not an instate traitor like Smith.

I wonder if the morons that say Chase “quit” realize there were NFL players that opted out of the season over coronavirus concerns

What a pathetic loser. Do you say the same guys that go pro early or transfer? There was no guarantee there would even be a season not to mention uncertainty about the virus and its long term effects. Guy had one of the best seasons why should he come back take zoom classes put up with all the bullshite protocols and other NCAA crap when there’s absolutely no upside for him just because the NFL wouldn’t let him go pro last year

I want to call it quitting. He decided quitting was best for his career. Some people won’t quit, because the competition drives them. Some people will quit when it benefits them. The former, we call competitors. The latter, we call quitters.

Man idk about the first. I think Chase is better, but the dolphins would let Tua pick whatever WR he wants I’d imagine, and he’d naturally go with his teammate if they’re in position for first WR. I’d take chase first personally. He’s bigger, stronger, faster, more physical. He reminds me of Steve smith honestly. Smith is only 180, but he runs incredible routes (I’d give him a very slight edge in that category). and has better hands. I’d take chase first, but both will be incredible players. In last years draft I’d have them 1-2 for WRs, smith is the best of the Bama boys. I’ll die on this hill

Bruh the GM does not consult the QB on draft picks. If you don’t believe me check with Aaron Rodgers

It’s funny, you don’t hear a peep about Tory Carter or Ika quitting or letting their team down. In fact, Ika has been defended ad nauseam & hasn’t made half of the contributions or worked nearly as hard as jamarr Chase has.

I also love how quick many are to toss Brennan, a guy who could have easily transferred after Burrow was brought in but stuck it, what they claim is the highest value, but nope he’s out because he lost to Missouri and Johnson beat Fla and OM so screw him.

But Chase a guy with literally nothing to prove should have to put up with whatever protocols and covid testing on top of the normal NCAA and school BS for a season that could have been canceled at any moment is a “quitter” for looking out for himself

Smith and waddle were his college teammates for 2 seasons. If you don’t think that would play into their decision heavily if they go WR, I don’t know what to tell you

Yet these same fans seriously have no idea why players don't stick around.

And this will not affect chase's draft selection whatsoever.
