Seem to think mason will be going there. And many want him. Would make a lot of sense to reunite with harbaugh from their Stanford days.
So this mason to LSU could be 1 of 2 things
1. LSU wants to hire him but needs to do it quick or lose him elsewhere
2. His name is being put out their to up paying price for him or make him seem wanted

Unlike pelini. Mason is highly thought of and wanted out inthe football world. Some guys can’t handle the head coaching job and just need to be assistants.

We will see

It is not that they can't handle head coaching job they don't have the same talent they had as coordinators.

There’s more of a chance that Harbaugh gets fired than Orgeron in 2021. Mason may consider that before choosing one.

Well if Jim wants him he must be sought after, his hires have been totally money...

All the more reason to choose Michigan if he thinks he could be moved up if Harbaugh gets canned.

It wouldn’t surprise me if the leak of “LSU in contacts with Mason” was by his agent to get more money out of Michigan.

NFL will be beating down the doors to hire CEO for $12 Million/year.

How often does a HC get fired and then replaced by someone on his own staff though? When coaches get fired, their entire staff usually goes too.
