Those days are behind me, thank God. All they want now is gift cards and cash.

Good luck and God’s speed in your endeavor.

Worst part is undoing all the wire twist ties that hold all the parts in the box..

I always get drunk and help my brother with my nieces stuff. Hopefully we get a head start.

Worst I ever had to do was one of those damn multi game tables that converted from foosball to air hockey to pool. I remember a few princess houses being pretty crappy too though.

Prior to this the worst was a trampoline, which wasn't horrible except having to do it at 2 AM in the rain.

Good luck. Put together a bike a few days ago, so I think we are ready (although I’m sure the wife could throw a curveball).

Props on doing it at least before Christmas Eve. Just don’t put that thing together in the house and not be able to get it outside!

Done it twice. I don’t know if I could assemble a trampoline in the daylight with good weather.

Still, it’s better than a dollhouse.

I've said this exact thing to my wife at least three times. "Man, I wish there was a way to build it inside and move it outside."

The question is what will you do with the leftover screws

They are going in the drawer.

I’m starting this tomorrow night. Hopefully it doesn’t take long but I know that’s just wishful thinking. Seems like they make things harder than it should be.

Got halfway through and our babygirl woke up so we had to postpone the finish for tomorrow night. I can't speak high enough about kidcraft. They're amazing at making quality products with great instructions.

Getting off pretty easy this year, just have to put a bike together for my youngest son. I always enjoy spending Christmas eve night in the garage, drinking bourbon and watching A Christmas Story on tv while putting their stuff together.

my kids are grown but there are many cars and bikes hidden at various family members houses (luckily we only have a bike here and I had to drive one car to its destination and we are part of another cars Christmas morning scavenger hunt) for my nieces and nephews.

I had it easy this year. The only thing that required assembly was an electric scooter and an electric atv, and those were minimal. Last year was way worse.

Barbie’s ADA compliant dream house was put together on Saturday.

The worst for me will always be a little kitchen set with 500 pieces that took 4+ hours on Christmas Eve night after several glasses of wine at Christmas Eve family dinner.
