So the defense of the number one school in the country is no better than LSU's??

Have we reached the point that the offenses are so prolific that we will simply have to live with these high scores?

Did the LSU defense win the game Saturday with all the turnover recoveries? I would say yes.

Just some things to think about.

This is the most points I have seen allowed in the SEC in quite awhile, not used to seeing defenses like ours and Bama give up that many points.

Exactly. Let's not act like Pelini did anything extraordinary to game plan for that game...he/we were just the beneficiaries of a stupid decision by Mullen.

Think about MSU's offense vs LSU and vs the rest of the teams they played.

Here are some things to think about.

LSU vs Ole Miss

Defense gave up 558 yards and 48pts while generating 6 TO....

LSU vs UF

Defense gave up 609 yards and 34pts while generating 3 TO...

LSU vs Ala

Defense gave up 650 yards and 55pts while generating 1 TO...

LSU D ranks 126th in Passing D
LSU D ranks 97th in scoring D
LSU D ranks 124th in Total D
LSU D ranks 116th in long scrimmage plays.

Imagine the yards and points if LSU didn’t get TO in final two games.

Just for reference of the first game...bc a team should improve

LSU vs MSU

Defense gave up 632 yards and 44 points while generating 4 TO

for now.

defenses will catch up. they always do.

then something new will come out on offensive side and they’ll start separating themselves again.

You obviously aren't thinking to hard if you think the circumstances of our game vs Florida and Bama's game vs Florida are even remotely close.

Absolutely! We were forced to play twenty-six freshmen and sophomores. In addition, Florida had to play in the fog and it was sunny on LSU.
