2 weekends.

And I'm definitely chomping at the bit. I have a fantasy football draft Sunday to keep me busy for now.

For the record...USC 30 - OSU 20.

As to why JM might not play, maybe the jock itch is worse than we thought.

Me too...I can't wait for the offense to stretch its legs against USC, because they won't show much against YSU and OU.

All we got were sore fingers from a door. He practiced this weekend without incident.

Please do not call it tOSU. It is one of the gayest things I have ever seen. It sounds pertentious and should be dropped out all together, even if that is how you are supposed to say it.

Nice try but that doesnt mean jack shite. First of all its from Trojanwire, and it says,"early projections." When vegas doesnt have a line for the game, THERE IS NO LINE YET.

haha that still doesnt mean shite, herbstreit also reported that Miles was going to Michigan.

Ok dude since I guess you dont know much about gambling on football, heres some info. There arent definite lines on football games 3 weeks into the season before the season even starts. No telling whos gonna be hurt, suspended, not hurt etc. The line will be out on the Sunday before the game (the real line, not just some crap some reported from the LA Times pulled out of his arse)

Hopefully Sanchez and McKnight are back, but losing them isn't nearly as costly as losing some o-linemen or recievers would be. I think everyone is just hoping that the O-line stays in one piece or SC could be in bigtime trouble.
I think this is the exact same position LSU is in.

And were outclassed in the BCS NCG at almost every position playing against a team with 2 losses.

They returned their right tackle. The guy that Tyson Jackson made look like a high schooler, and had to hold on every play to keep the QB from getting killed.

Give me Beanie Wells and Laurinaitis. That's the only two players that impressed me.

As much as I hate USC, I have to admit they are head and shoulders over OSU in talent.

i dissagree. i think OSU will beat USC.

so what if OSU got blown out in the NCG. there two loses on the season were much more impressive than USC's.

no way USC talent is "head and shoulders over OSU" thats just retarted. i bet OSU has more first rounders.

I have no interst in this game other than I am going to enjoy watching one of these teams lose.

My opinion is that USC has better athletes at almost every position and USC will expose OSU as a pretender just like the previous two MNC games. Bennie is very, very, good. Maybee Heisman good. But USC will put 8 in the box and make the buckeye receivers and Boekman beat man to man. USC's secondary, USC's pass rush and Tressels pound it out vanilla offense will play right into USC's hands and make it a long night for the Buckeys.

USCw 35

tOSU 10

BTW: Carrol is 39-3 for a .929 win percentage at home.

Just my opinion

I would not take single games and extrapolate theories out of them.

Taking games against top caliber teams and using that as a guide is most certainly appropriate and provides substantially more detail then dominations over the Akrons of the world. I would love to incorporate OSU wins against top notch teams into the equation... let me know when they have one and I will.

quote:

By your rationale, USC should have been annihilated by Arizona State since the Sun Devils whipped Stanford 41-3. USC won, however, by 20.

I am not taking one game. I am simply pointing out how each team has done against BCS bowl competition. Again, if I am missing OSU domination of BCS caliber teams, please let me know. Not sure what AZ state has to do with this.

quote:

I think having an experienced team at the beginning of the season is a tremendous advantage. Think about LSU. Inexperience nearly cost us a loss in 2004 to a pedestrian Oregon State team. But an experience squad absolutely ripped Virginia Tech a new one in 2007.

And you talked to me about extrapolating one game? This experienced team also had a massive letdown against a poor team after the Florida game. It is not like USC is bringing no one back. That defense is experienced and as good as it gets.

quote:

Ohio State is experienced on both sides of the ball.

So was Wisconsin last year.

quote:

That defense could force a young Trojan team into costly errors. Plus, I do not believe that Ohio State will come into the Coliseum with the look of fear in their eyes that Illinois had in the Rose Bowl.

No they will look like they did when they got rolled by Florida and LSU.

quote:

I think this will be a close game and I could see the Buckeyes pulling off the upset.

Not in the Coliseum... USC is a big game team with tons of talent... OSU has proven absolutely nothing against competition of that caliber.

I will be the first to tip my hat when they do, but I am comfortable it is not happening on the 13th.

Not to nit-pick but we did not open with VT last year. I have head that 10 times in the past month.

I was not the one making that claim. OUr experienced and damn talented team still had 2 losses, even with all that experience. The simple fact an overated team is bringing everyone back does not do it for me... sorry guys, show me a win against a top notch team... until then, enjoy the fantasy.

I've said it a million times:

@ #2 Texas in '06 doesn't count? I love this rantard counting system where only shite relevant to your argument gets used.

You are trying to compare the 06 Longhorns to a BCS team? Are you serious? That team was lucky to get by Iowa after bad losses to K State and A&M.

That is like Michigan/LSU claiming big time wins over ND because people were stupid enough to put them in the top 3 to start the season.
