247 says he is Transfering to Auburn. Did he actually transfer?

Big kid out of Minnesota and very active and 300 lbs of pulling guard looks good on film.

What is the deal w/ OG J. Roberts from Northshore H-town? Seen him trending to bama. Do they even have room for him? I know O has good connections to the Northshore program.

I know we need offensive linemen, but do we really need to accumulate the entire line from Harvard?

On another thread some gump chimed in that the word is Robert’s signed yesterday but keeping it quiet. Sounds like their usual shite that they never get investigated for.

Why would they get investigated for this? Supposedly we had 2 or 3 guys do the exact same thing.

This is dumb. There are currently 8 Harvard alums in the NFL and 21 total Ivy League players.

How about we rate all players based on their talent, not on where they are currently attending school.

There is major college and NFL talent at all levels of football.

Assuming a player, especially an offensive lineman, isn't good at 21 because he wasn't highly recruited at 17 is foolish.

Yea maybe, but it’s worrisome that 40% of our starting OL was at Harvard

We don't even know if Wilson is considering LSU. I only have issue with the premise that we shouldn't even consider Ivy League players.

I don't know anything about Wilson as a player, other than he was committed to Auburn and had offers (or serious interest)from SMU , Minnesota, Memphis, Vanderbilt, Boston College, LSU and Florida State.

I do know he doesn't graduate until May, so couldn't join the team until Summer. I would prefer players who could join now and participate in the offseason and spring practice.

Shanahan, IMO, is not the weak link.
In addition, he is the best Center on campus.
I hope he stays.

I know they had previously. Have they been back in contact since Malzahn was fired?

We need young linemen, not one year ivy league guys. Our entire line is rumored to be returning.

Wilson has two years

This isn't relevant. He's either good enough or he isn't.

I appreciate Deculus' tenure here...but hes medicore.
