Yeah this episode exceeded my wildest expectations. Just curious to see what happens now. Will definitely miss the Grogu-Mando pairing. Surely it will be back at some point.

I wonder if a time jump between seasons is possible?

Wonder if Luke will play a small part going forward. I can imagine Boba possibly having a vendetta against him. Just a thought.

But correct me if I am wrong but Sabine got it by defeating Gar Saxon but didn't she offer and GIVE the Darksaber to Bo-Katan. That seems to run afoul of the legend presented.

No, I actually just finished Rebels. Sabine found the darksaber in the cave Maul kept it at on Dathomir. Since she never won it in battle, it was kind of out there in limbo. After she fought Saxon with it, she turned it over to Bo Katan.

I underlined that portion because that was about the exact time it hit me as well. It was "oh... this is an all-female team" followed closely by "it makes sense why it is so it doesn't matter" and the entertainment continued.

That's how you fricking do it.

The Luke CGI... It's noticeable if you want it to be, but not obnoxiously so. It's definitely not Kurt Russell GoTG 2 good but it was good enough to not detract from the awesomeness of the scene of LUKE frickING SKYWALKER IN HIS PRIME!!!

Damned strong. Why Disney does not have Favreau running everything I just don't know.

With all this said (I agree) where was the guy from Bo-Katans crew? Did they say and I just missed it?

It amazes me that people can be so short sighted

That was awesome. Similar but different. Maybe intentionally, but luke was slower and more methodical - business like. Pops had hate in every move - you could feel the evil.

It was much more like something you’d see in The Prequels and The Clone Wars, while also feeling like Luke from ROTJ.

It does and far exceeds. Star wars erection might cause me to go to the doctor for it lasting more than 4 hours

This. I am not even a star wars nerd but I had one. I was worried it was going to be some deep cut Jedi from clone wars or rebels or something. When I saw it was Luke, I knew they had something special going on. I was blown away when R2D2 came out. I hope it wasn't just a special moment so that we could say goodbye to Grogu. He better be back next season even if it is infrequently.

Well that just exceeded any kind of finale I was expecting.

It is simply amazing that this show can make you feel like the last three movies never happened.

That episode was a lot of fun but at some point they have to introduce a decent villain.
