How does Cregg survive?

I know he is CEO friend, but if Nsd plays out on the oline side how it's looking he needs to get his walking paper

If he misses on Leigh, he won't survive.

You just said it… He’s friends with Coach O! I’m tired of coach hiring friends. Hire a goddamn good offense line coach who can recruit, friend or no

Neaux, whole new offensive staff except for Faulk & Joseph

Cregg misses, Cregg gotta go!

Any chance they can hire that ASU offensive assistant coach...?

He's gotta go regardless, see ya!!

I think he’s gone and he knows it. Makes sense why he isn’t putting it the extra work to get anyone. The RB coach from New Orleans that was on Les’ staff and was fired immediately after signing day 2017 is a very similar situation. Guy just isn’t closing anyone (Leigh, the OL headed to SMU, etc)

The same way O survives. LSU is strapped for cash.

If so, his replacement needs to be good at teaching pass blocking and run blocking at a high level. We need to be able to run more effectively when we want to without becoming run-oriented.

Why are you guys worrying about Cregg when the problem
is O? Putting bandaids on a gushing wound doesnt help.

Because we're kind of stuck with Orgeron for another year or two unless he's directly implicated in the Title IX investigation.
So, many of us are looking for actual solutions rather than pie in the sky dreams to solve the problems.

Mawae coaches TE and Tackles. Sale coaches Guards and Centers.....

He was a good player. I remember when he played for the Tigers at guard and center in the late 90’s and early 2000’s.

Johnson DL coach is one that needs an upgrade for recruiting as well
He's another dinosaur

Cregg has West Coast touches from his career. That should have brought some West Coast connected Offensive Lineman. That has not materialized. Louisiana doesn't seem to grow them in sufficient quantity. I think we are better off with someone who can really recruit lineman from Texas to Wisconsin [including states in between like Iowa, Nebraska and other sources for corn fed monsters].

What are the chances of that happening?
