Why you left out Todd Harris, I thought he has played better than Hampton. At least in run support

Yikes. A safety that can't cover, can't tackle, doesn't know the scheme.

I was thankful that Flott was ejected Saturday night. I cannot believe that the coaches allow him on the field. He is so terrible, that it is unimaginable that he plays on a SEC defense.

Ward has passed up Flott. I dont know if the coaches know it yet though

I’m willing to bet Sage Ryan is the starting nickel next year

You had me until Hampton. Weak link for sure.

I always get a kick out of offseason threads. People name players as if it shows a stacked roster just by naming the player . Yeah, I mean, that's the roster, but what if the guy has been a liability or uninspiring at best? LSU fans do this every offseason.

That being said, secondary should be a much brighter spot with the emergence of Ward and McGlothern in particular, in addition to another year of Ricks. Would have to see something out of Toles, Flott or Hampton before relying on them.

Flott and Hampton have been terrible

I hope the freshman safeties come in and just absolutely steal the jobs from Harris and Hampton and Lewis they have been so underwhelming.

We are used to great safety play every year this group is bad.

It’d be nice to see more player development in the secondary next year. Idk if the current safety play is a lack of coaching or on the players but LSU can’t keep trotting out freshmen DB’s and expecting a great unit.

cb1 Stingley
cb2 Ricks
Nickel Sage
FS McGlothern
SS D. Davis/Hampton

I just think Hampton will bounce back.
