Is that really what we want, your HC in bed with someone half his age?
This doesn’t bother me one tiny bit. He’s allowed to have any social life he wants.
It’s more the fact that he can’t coach very well.

Well then fire him for that fact. Don't use his personal life to fire the guy. The only thing that I see that legally can get him fired is if he did not follow LSU's Title IX policy with respect to sexual assault.
But as I have already stated in the thread about today's Advocate article, based on the evidence I have seen LSU's Title IX policies and procedures do not suggest that LSU had one set of standards for football players and one for non-football players. The issue it appears based on today's article, if there are any, rests more with the disciplinary aspects.
The Independent Audit from the legal firm will issue their report. All LSU employees cited in the USA article are entitled to due process and should not be convicted on internet message boards. It is unethical, unjust and violates the principles of the US Constitution.

Under the law both in Louisiana and in the United States, Coach O would be considered “a public figure”. In the context of defamation actions (libel and slander) as well as invasion of privacy, a public figure cannot succeed in a lawsuit on incorrect harmful statements in the United States unless there is proof that the writer or publisher acted with actual malice by knowing the falsity or by reckless disregard for the truth. The legal burden of proof in defamation actions is thus higher in the case of a public figure than in the case of an ordinary person like you and me.
You are correct, he is indeed a public figure and harder to prove libel and slander in that case. However, if he is fired and his dating or personal life is used to justify it, I think he gets an attorney and gets all he is owed.
So for those wanting to fire the guy, if you were the AD, Hypothetically, then you I guess would fire him but Man up and pay what you owe contractually. Don't fabricate this stuff about who he is with in his social life.
Is it something that I would do, no, do I think it is a good idea to be dating a woman who is maybe 6 or 8 years older than your sons and a quarter of century younger than you. No. But it ain't my life.
And just to get rise out of some people here, PUSA is married to wife #3 (and hitting a porn star and Playboy bunny while Married to her) and she is 24 years younger than him. Pretty much the same age difference as O and his new Lady Friend.

Yes, but clearly this is only enhancing his job performance not hurting it.

he literally only had to know that an allegation existed and not tell the Title IX office.
He can’t do his own investigations first either. Title IX has to be the first call.
even if the allegation is complete bullshite, he is legally obligated to report it.
Oh, I'm sure that's the way it's handled in Tuscaloosa.
