Just like there wasn't ANY discussion when you lost yoir division yet they still selected you over a team whom beat you.

These cancelled games actually put Ohio State in a severe disadvantage for the playoffs.

We wanted to play a full schedule starting in August.

There actually wasn't because OSU didn't go INSTEAD of Penn State, Washington did. OSU was clearly the #3 team in 2016 based on road wins at Big 12 champ OU and @ top 10 Wisconsin along with beating a top 5 Michigan.

The committee wasnt debating OSU or Penn State, it was debating Penn State or Washington. Penn State lost 2 games that season, if they hadn't lost to Pitt the B1G would have been the first conference with 2 teams in I'm pretty sure.
