Saw him play and saw Kyler Murray in high school. He reminds me of Kyler. It’ll be tough keeping him off the field next year.

He’s a shortstop

Mobile, accurate, tough, off plane throws

This is what wins in CFB right now

He seems to have that 3/4, flick of the wrist throw.

He doesn't seem as quick as Kyler. But, definitely more than athletic enough to thrive in college.

He certainly has a sandlot quality to his game which is a benefit if your OL is struggling. Needs a little extra rice in his gumbo though if he's going to scramble around in the SEC.

He’s tearing it up in one of the best high school divisions in the country, so he’s probably showing up here ready to compete. If Brennan is healthy, it’s going to be one hell of a competition. That will only push Johnson and Finley to up their games quickly.

Wasn’t he the reason we brought in Linehan? Also, I don’t care how good he is in high school, LSU hasn’t developed a good QB in over a decade.

He plays and carries himself like Shea Patterson did in high school.

That doesn’t exactly inspire confidence.

I have said it before and will say it again. If Brennan does not come back Nussmeier is our starter next year. He has the “IT” that the others simply do not!

Whatever you think, Brennan looks good and was developed here. Despite his flaws, Finley has been able to win 2 SEC starts as a true freshman who wasn’t ready for that stage. It may not be perfect, but it’s a lot better than the Miles days.

Howard is the better player IMO.

Yes compared to the miles days, TJ and Max have looked pretty poised for true freshman thrown into an all sec schedule, and Brennan was lighting it up early this year

Shea was entitled. I don't see anything in his interviews and bios that indicate Nuss feels that way. He's consistently referred to as a natural leader that players gravitate to. If you watch some of the 7-on-7 camps the players seem to genuinely like him. He also personally drove recruits around and took the role of the lead on the recruit only visits to LSU.
