I already did a few weeks ago. My dad’s probably gonna look at me like I gave him one of his grandson’s used diapers when he opens it.

Yea a book that gives you a behind the scenes look at how the greatest team in the history of the sport was put together. Such a terrible thing.

Should have spent time looking for a good DC and Passing Game Assistant than writing a cute book

His victory lap over the off-season bothered me at the time but now it really pisses me off. He’s going around trying to be a celebrity, taking every interview request he gets offered, writing books, going on 60 minutes instead of being a fricking football coach.

Do you see Saban doing that after a national championship? Dabo? Hell any head coach?

He was more worried about his own celebrity than holding this football team together during a pandemic.

You mean how Miles left him 15 out of 22 starters on the 2019 team?

So now we saying Miles is the actual winner of the 2019 season? Boy it all goes full circle.

That team was O’s team just like 2007 was Miles’s team. I don’t care who recruits the player if you are coached by someone for 3+ season that is your coach.

Cotton, you are absolutely correct. I would usually lean on the side of he has plenty of time to do all of the above but it appeared to me that he was really focused on being a celebrity throughout all of the off season. The complete and total lack of focus, organization, direction, and fire on this team, in all aspects, leads me to the conclusion that somebody let go of the wheel. Obviously that is O.

Dabo has multiple books about him and his time at Clemson and Kirby Smart does as well. They aren’t the author of them but I’m sure they were heavily involved in them.

Nick Saban is author of a couple books including one that came out April 1, 2002 about an SEC Championship at LSU.

That’s fair. I didn’t know that.

If Ed put together an actual football team this year I would’ve remained slightly annoyed by the victory lap. But after watching this football “team” it’s infuriating.

This is the issue. It’s fine to do all the things O did but when you have a season like this it just looks bad. It may have had zero bearing on the season but the optics are terrible.
