Nope. He'll opt out. Respect his business decision.

With all this opting out BS, why dont they just follow NCAA basketball and let them go pro after a year?

The majority of players need several years of physical development to be ready for the NFL. There are some who can make the jump, but most will be out on the street within a year or 2.

..and you can bet your arse agents will be whispering in every player's ear to make themselves a quick $.

Would be the end of college football as we know it, but we are quickly moving towards that.

The Opt Outs are a Covid thing.

If he goes 2 years without an interception there is a chance someone passes him in the drafts

He won’t be a top 5 pick unless he plays next year. I think you will see fall out this year relative the “opt out” crowd. Lots of stock will fall bc of opting out. Stingley needs to show next year that he has gotten stronger , more physical and won’t get beat deep. He ball skills and short route coverage are other worldly. He loses guys at the release at times and it hurts him on the deep routes with the better receivers.

That really happened like 1 time last year

He’s really good but he wasn’t so good this year he can not play next year and not drop a little bit.

With all do respect I think you have his weaknesses the complete opposite. He’s great covering downfield throws outside of the bama game against Devonta smith as his 4.3 speed and ball skills helps him stick to guys downfield. Where he loses is in breaking routes as van Jefferson best him on in breaking routes multiple times against Florida as well as George Pickens. He also has a tendency to not be physical at the LOS

As soon as they "opt out" their scholarship should be pulled.

No. Look for Gilbert to bail after a few TD’s as well.

If there’s smoke there’s fire.

If it’s being talked about then he’s gone.

Once we’re out of contention for any sort of a championship he’s gonna “opt out” and start preparing for the draft. Ever since he was a kid he dreamed of playing in the NFL . Respect his decision jerk.

College football as we know it ended with Covid. The opt out door can’t be closed.

If he leaves in the offseason I don’t have much problem with it. Guys quitting mid season is a bigger issue.
