Former Tiger/Current UK Wildcat Kelvin Joseph Opts Out

Of all the opt outs this one surprises me the most. Joseph was starting to have a very productive season and was near the top of the country in interceptions. But I dont know how scouts will view him having never played anything close to a full college season. He will probably need a very good combine/pro day.

I don't think this is a smart decision but also don't care.
He has no chest, had an opportunity to form the top SEC duo with Stingley and left as soon as he knew he wouldn't be the guy.
Also always in trouble so good luck explaining that and your lack of tape to GMs. That said he'll get an chance at the next level, has the tools

none of his decisions make sense. Why did he go to UK to begin with? He got on the field early and certainly would have been a starter this year and next if he stayed.

Is it opting out if you’re 8 games into the season? I think that’s just quitting. Opting out would be what Jamar Chase did.

Hes been up and down game to game. More good than bad but Pitts burned him bad for a long TD last game. His first 2 games this season he gave up 3 TD.
Just really not enough tape on him.

It’s cool to opt out. I’m sure the nfl scouts will move him up because of his self evaluation of his own talent.
