Is BREC stocking rainbow trout this year?

LDWF
LDWF does stocking and just stocked catfish in ponds at a bunch of parks. Looks like they did the rainbow trout stocking in January from dates and locations shown in link above

I thought BREC secretly stocked a select few ponds once a year, typically during late fall early winter?

I’m not sure about BREC doing it themselves. LDWF is the only agency I’ve heard of that stocks rainbow trout. But LDWF did stock in BREC ponds among a bunch of others around the state

Brec use to do it on the Thursday before school let out for Xmas.

Looks like LDWF is expecting to stock their "get out and fish" lakes in mid January depending on temperatures. Locations can be found at the following link.
