Whenever you hear of people in the public eye take extended leaves of absence seemingly out of nowhere it's almost always rehab.

A "good guy" having issues that sends him to rehab is much more likely than any non-billionaire actually taking a month long vacation from mid-November to mid-December.

I hate to see things like this that potentially sully a man's reputation. But like I've said, it's very odd for someone to take a "vacation" in the midst of the main part of the year for his job.
I think he's talked about, on-air, him recently getting divorced?
I just hope he is ok. You don't have to like the job he does on-air to care about him as a person. Crap, this is a tough year for everyone.
