Did he say that, I just skipped to the jump. That was a hell of a lot higher than 50' the road deck might be 50' above the water.

Yeah, I thought so, too. That bridge is distinctive, so it was easy to pinpoint it as the Pennybacker Bridge.

Google Earth Pro is showing the midspan of the road deck at about 555' and ironworks at about 655' with the the water at about 490'. So, that's about 160-170 or so from the top of iron to the water.

The road is probably around 100 ft above the water. That was an absolutely crazy jump to attempt for anyone that isn't a trained diver. Many experienced divers would not attempt it either.

I don't know if it was a pre-existing condition but he seems to have brain damage.

I've jumped from an 60/70 foot bridge into a river in Horseshoe Bend, Idaho. This guy's hang time was comparable to that hang time. He's an idiot for lunging instead of stepping off. Body rotation is deadly at that height.

Watching it again that looks like it's 90 feet
