Are you taking this so personally because she’s a soccer player?

It was supposed to be a squib kick. Honestly - the best executed play by Vandy all day.
At the same time - I think this was all a show for good PR.

Kicking out of bounds to give the other team the ball at the 35 would get any kickers arse chewed out, but squib it to the 35 and run off the field so you don't get hit and it's something to cheer for?
I'm not going to be too harsh on her because it takes guts for anyone to step on a field between SEC teams, so I applaud her for that but I'm not going to give kudos for that kick and the fact that they have to kickoff like that because they dont trust her to be the last line of defense is not exactly a ringing endorsement for more women kickers tbh, its the opposite if anything

They showed her kicks pregame
She doesn’t have the strength/coordination to follow through. What you saw with that kickoff is about the best outcome possible for her

The more soy board doesn’t want to hear this. It’s leaving the other ten guys on the field out to dry but that’s ok apparently. I have no problem if she fulfills her duties as a kicker. But she didn’t.

Don't limit it to the football program. The whole university has become a SJW theme park. A caricature.

I think you meant higher education in general.

Serious question, do liberal men and liberals fathers think so little of women and their daughters that stunts and parades like this is actually “empowering” to women?
Anyone who “supports” this clearly thinks women are complete dumbasses who are second class citizens

All the fat oil field baws, that probably can’t kick a ball for shite, want her to fail so badly they can’t give her credit for a well executed kick. Incredible.
Terribly out of shape at the time and never kicked footballs for anything other than fun. This girl is poo not matter how much you try to spin it.

She did exactly what they asked her to do. What do you want from her? To audible to a deep kick?

Damn that you?

She kicked the ball a whole 25 yards
Man, it’s embarassing and degrading to women the way I see it. It’s clearly men using a woman for a pat on the back

I mean she did the best thing possible considering the circumstances and executed it well. The problem is not many people being serious about this are going to believe they didn’t have a better option for someone that could actually boot it and be counted on in kick coverage. That’s why it seems this was just a PR stunt.
