Not whining. Just pointing out the consensus.
To be fair, the negative posts have evidence to back up their claims. We let Moo U rack up more yards (and damn near more points) in one game than they will get in the rest of the season combined.

No one here is arguing that results or performances have been good.
Then why are you complaining about negative posts? Seems like they are valid if your above statement is true.

Yes, that’s it. No one is allowed to have hope. Hope is dangerous. It’s deadly. So much better to be a bitter pessimist.

People really believe COVID was some death grip on LSU football like it didn't completely frick up everyone else's offseason too.
Its not just LSU fans. Most all are bitching.
You have to admit, if you are honest, COVID has screwed up almost everything.
Teams don't know who they are playing their next game, who their teammates will be, if there is going to be a "next" game this season.

It was plenty positive last year.
It’s almost as if, even though we are fans, we can be subjective about the status of the team and program. When things are good, we can praise them and celebrate them. When things are bad, we can voice our frustrations.
There are very few positives from this year. The biggest positive we have going for us is that our hardest games so far have been cancelled, thus avoiding us humiliation.
If we’re being objective, this follow up season to a title should terrify the living hell out of you. “But we lost so much!” - every title winner loses a bunch of contributors. If we want to be elite - Bama, OSU, Clemson - these seasons are inexcusable and do not happen. Plain and simple.

You're misunderstanding his point.
He's referring to the fans who use it as an excuse for the drop-off as though it only hit louisiana

Are we now back to NegaTigers, PosiTigers, and RealistiTigers?
Is the part where everyone claims to be a RealistiTiger? Kind of like the PoliBoard where everyone is a libertarian?

We ranked 72 and that’s ok with me

Love the excuse that we lost players last year to the NFL, Covid excuses, new defensive coach, etc , etc.
Yes, I get that we lost great players last year but we are LSU with plenty of 4 star and 5 star players sitting in reserve. Alabama and Clemson loses a lot of players to NFL also EVERY YEAR!
Miss state had only 6 returning starters from a 6-7 team last year and completely changed the entire coaching staff and still beat our arse at home!
We are ranked in pass defense 116th out of 126 College teams
and we are ranked 124th out of 126 teams in allowing big pass plays over 40 yards.. LSU HAS NEVER EVER BEEN THIS BAD ON DEFENSE.
The defensive Coaching is horrific!

There is nothing to be positive about unless it is recruiting. Team is in complete disarray with no signs of improvement.
