Taylor Zarzour and Stinchcomb were terrible

I’ve been pretty happy with the ESPN crews but this was our first experience with those guys and man do they suck.
One particular play that sticks out was a beautiful piss rocket ball by Finley and Stinch was like man that was an ugly ball. On replay it was a full rotation rope.
Just the overall flow and dialogue....we deserve better

I remember that call. It was a nice spiral. That dude was wrong about just about everything he said yesterday.

Do they not see the rv replays as we see them. If not then I understand their comments are based on what they think they saw.
If they see what we see and when we see it, they are at best completely incompetent of quickly assessing and commenting.
It reallly isn’t that difficult to be a commentator especially with a competitive game

I agree. The John Emery fumble clearly showed him getting the ball back while on the ground and the targeting call on the Arkansas player... he clearly launched and hit a defenseless player.

And he also thought Franks got the first down when he stretched, then replay moved the ball back a full yard.
Stinchcomb was dead wrong on all the big things. Really dumb guy.

That idiot stinchcomb talked about that fumble for 20 minutes.

I guess that’s what you get when you have two teams with losing records playing at 11 am on the SEC Network

Totally agree with OP. They were the worst I have ever heard. Post-game, after LSU goes on the road and gets a tough recovery win with a true freshman starting QB, they said NOT ONE WORD about LSU. ALL their post-game commentary was about how valiant Arkansas was in the loss.
And don't get me started on the fumble call that the refs got right and they whined about for about 10 minutes after....

He was so bad that my wife, who knows nothing about football, said he was horrible. She noticed how negative he was towards LSU

That’s what happens when ESPN hires people based on willingness to push their social justice agenda and not broadcasting skill. Whatever your political stance may be, the injection of politics into sports by ESPN has completely ruined their product and it’s been well documented that they’ve run good analysts off because the analysts don’t fit ESPN’s political agenda.
They may not be worth a shite at play-by-play, but they definitely made sure to mention COVID at least 10 times and social justice causes 2-3 times, as prescribed by their bosses. There are only so many people in this world who will get on national TV and say exactly what they’re told without deviation and we had the pleasure of listening to 2 of them yesterday

Stinchcomb still butt hurt by the whippings we’ve been putting on his UGA dawgs.

Felt like I was watching a Local Arkansas broadcast. Was horrible.

Glad that wast just me.
They showed it live and he was like “an ugly pass” and then they showed a reply, he doubled down and it was a fricking great looking pass with maybe a little wobble right out of his hand that straightened out to a tight spiral.
He acted like TJ threw a wounded duck and someone it fell between the defenders.

That’s a privilege I reserve for Gary Danielson.

They were worse than the refs and that’s saying a lot.

I was wondering what game they were watching the whole time because they were describing a whole different game than I was watching
I also have said this same statement about the refs. I didn't think either targeting call was correct. Ricks should have gotten a penalty for taunting, but not targeting. The Arkansas player had no where to go. We also had a TD taken away but Arkansas lost a fumble that was pretty obvious.

Stinch is an Arkie Homer, I didn't exoect anything less.

I'm rarely one to complain about the announcers but Stinch was terrible. Love him as an ex-Saint but he was either biased or blind. Got every big call completely wrong.
