Yeah, BREC is pretty decent as far as parks go. At least they were when I lived in Baton Rouge.

Some are, some aren't.

We have been going to the Blackwater Conservation Area in Central
It’s really nice, a few different trails, ponds to fish
Trash bins & benches everywhere
