Positives are going up all across the country but not here. Why?

Do we have herd immunity due to so many earlier cases?

Did JBE and Latoya policies actually... work??

It can’t be that the government policies worked. Literally no other policy works. I’m telling y’all. It’s the 80 proof in the air. Keeps it from spreading.

Yes. Mardi Gras and protests did the job.

Because it was one of the early places to have big outbreaks.

Nola businesses have done a great job at enforcing masking. Can’t say the same about places around the rest of the state.

Wisconsin also made voting in person mandatory for their April elections.

This is the right answer as far as it goes. But you also need to ask if the economic damage those policies caused was worth it.

Naw. It's been pretty clear for awhile that New Orleans has essentially reached herd immunity and did so awhile ago.

You’re wrong though

I don’t know anyone in my group of friends living here that have test +, we wear mask when going to grocery stores, avoid large gatherings, carry around hand sanitizer. The little things, you know.

Either
1. Latoya was not bullied by COVID
2. COVID got robbed and shot in the FQ

The African American population of NOLA saw the early disproportionate death numbers and have taken it seriously ever since, for the most part. So that's 70% of the population right there.
