Restaurant in BR for a large group

So my parent's 25th wedding anniversary is next week and I got stuck finding a place in Baton Rouge for 22 people. I'd like to go to Jubans, but I'd get bitched at for it being too expensive. Granted some of these people think eating at Chili's is stepping up.
Any suggestions?

Two off the top of my head...
Sammy's
Brunet's
I have been to both with a large crowd and everything went good. With a crowd that large I would stick to somewhere that has a simple menu. If you have a lot of special request the kitchen will get backed up and slow. Both of these have good enough food and usually have a staff that can handle it.
eta: I say these two because they had seperate rooms for the large crowd. Also, Copelands Cheesecake Bistro has a seperate room, but I have never been there with a large crowd.
I am sure both of these won't live up to most of the Food Elitest on this board.

I'm heading to Sammy's shortly. I might ask them about it. I hadn't thought about Brunet's. Either might work. I like the good spots myself, but with this crowd, the good spots just aren't gonna work.

yeah, plus most people can find something at a seafood restaurant that won't break the bank. I know every large crowd has people on a budget, allergic to something, and of course the people that won't be satisfied with anything.

Sammy's is not bad and won't break your bank.

go with ruffinos or jubans, they have large rooms and different menu's available

Juban's is great, no doubt, but it is damn pricey.

If you looking for Italian, Monjunis on Highland has a private room for parties and it is not as pricey as Ruffinos or Jubans.

If you are in the mood for seafood or cajun food, I would strongly recommend Opies. Will not break your bank and you will feel right at home.

I'd recommend Mansur's in that price range. Very nice rooms, great food, and very accomadating management.

We have regular large meetings at Drusilla Seafood. Nice banquet rooms and reasonably priced.............

Drusilla does handle large groups pretty good.
Of course depends on the service which sometimes is their hole. Everything else is kinda high except for Opies which is great but lacking in atmosphere if that is what you are looking for. So depends on what you are looking for if you picture Jubans in your mind then Opies will not satisfy. Mike Andersons has seating for large groups too I believe. Been a long long time since I have eaten there though.

I think that is in the same price range as Jubans which he said would be too much.

Parrians, Drusilla, Deangelo's would all be able to accommodate. Also the Capital City Grill downtown has a little side room that could be used for a table that size. Jubans would be your best overall bet though if money isn't a big issue
