Lots of people would pay you for it, so they could make fuel for cars. I'm sure you could do the eco friendly thing and put it on craigslist, have someone pick it up, and make a few bucks at the same time.
Going rate, 2-3 bucks per gallon

Dempseys Poboys and Gumbo

Had the cup and a half there today. Chicken and Sausage gumbo was very solid. The Half french dip poboy was phenominal. I like the way they home-cut their fries. The owner told me today that it takes a little longer to make them that way, but I agreed the quality was worth the extra effort!
I really enjoyed the way they dressed the place up from the Old Vic's Chophouse.
I really encourage everyone to try this place if you haven't yet. Good people and really good food.

4 abita ambers for $6, a pretty good deal in my opinion, now I'm headed home for an evening of grilling steaks with the Mrs.

I went for lunch today and had a fried shrimp platter with hushpuppies and french fries, then the blueberry banana cream pie (much like a cheesecake) for $10. Going back tonight for the 2 for 1 drink special!!! :nana:
I think his new thing is doing 2 or 3 course lunches for 10-12 bucks. ie, App or salad, entree, dessert. Geaux OPIE

Best Fried Catfish In Baton Rouge - Opies Government
Posted by PurpleGoldTyger on 8/17/08 at 10:57 am
Had All You Can Eat there yesterday for $9.99. I ate 12 pieces with french fries (skin on :nana:) and jalepeno hush pups. He marinates them in some secret mustard sauce (he said it was his dad's old red cross recipe), and fries the pieces up crisp on outside, and tender on inside. Finished with a bread pudding I took home. The special of the day was bread pudding came free with the lunch special or AYCE catfish. Place was hopping yesterday, bar was completely full and food was great. Keep up the good work opie and staff

If you are in the mood for seafood or cajun food, I would strongly recommend Opies. Will not break your bank and you will feel right at home.
