I still have everything with Cox Contour Cable with Gigablast Internet, telephone, hundreds of channels including virtually every sports channel of note, two DVRs with ability to record six shows at once; HBO/HBO Mac, full Starz and a direct Cox link to Netflix, You Tube and several other streaming movie videos channels.
In-house wiring and troubleshooting. I own my own router and modem.
Total bill $292 a month with fees and taxes and no hassles and swapping stuff around. We’ve been with Cox since 1977 and get Legacy/Loyalty pricing. Every time I price out cutting the cord I can never save more than $50 a month and that’s not worth it to me yet.
I already had Netflix for Blu-ray rentals and Amazon Prime for shopping so those are just lagniappe.
Also, knock on wood, Cox Cable has been clear and very reliable with their service.

you're just a salty old man that's not worried about it. And I ain't mad at ya! I was paying about what you stated for the similar channel lineup, but it was a waste when we wanted to throw a movie on to chill and spent 30min checking all the bullshite On Demand channels of the movie channels. I have a SAN and plex server at home and most any movie accessible in a moment.
Do you have a cellphone? why are you paying for home phone service? Probably for your $50/mo alarm monitoring...2 physical device DVRs when cloud is readily available. Are you paying monthly rental rates for modem, router, and DVRs?
Please, this is not an attack at all....but you could probably be saving a shitload....and you can simplify

You pay $292 a month and that's your "discount" for being a loyal customer for 43 years since 1977?
Do you still drink Tab?
That phone line ... hooked to a rotary phone?
Why the multiple DVR's when you clearly prefer VHS tapes?

Hate to break it to you, but new customers can get everything you have for ~$200. To Cox, a "loyal" customer is one they can jack up rates on and they won't leave. Have you threatened to cancel in the last decade? If not, you should. They'll find a special "promo" rate for you real quick.
Oh, and cancel the telephone service. Pay the one-time $20 or whatever to port the number over to Google Voice and just have it ring your cell phone(s) for free.
I just saved you $800+ per year. My fee is very reasonable. Contact me at my username at gmail for details.
