Joe McKnight's little brother is a Jr. at John Curtis. Plays CB and KR, PR, duties. Anyone seen him play, does anyone know anything about him.

We had Hester, Williams, Scott, Holliday, Murphy last year. We have 4/5 back this year. And possibly 4/5 back next year.
Lets say joe would have come here. Would he have gotten to play last year? What about this year, could he play this year? If Williams, Scott and Murphy return next year, could he play next year. I know Joe is a very talented RB and broke through the USC lineup. I just wonder where everyone would rank him compared to our RB lineup. I personally would have like to have him. I think his JR/SR year will be monster years for him.

I heard he is pretty good - not LSU caliber though.

if he is good enough to get playing time at USC along with the other 500 5* RBs then I say yes 100% he would have gotten some playing time.

IMO he'd be our starting tailback ... just because I bitterly resented McKnights NSD press conference stunner and the whole alleged JC anti-LSU bias, it doesn't change the fact that he's super-talented ... what I hope is that he gets to meet CJ and friends in Miami at the end of this season.

All of which isn't really a topic for this board ... but there are knowledgeable posters on this board that could tell you more about the younger McKnight.

He's about half of Joe. He'll be good for some smaller school.

I agree, I get a kick out of people that say he wouldn't see the field at LSU

Yeah, I've seen him play more than once last year. He's a CB with a lot of potential....could be anywhere from a three-star to a four-star...will see some time on offense possibly too....and i'll have an article on scout about some Curtis players (including him) hopefully on deck

As much as i hated his attitude for LSU the answer would have probably been Yes

McKnight locked down highly underrated receiver Roderick Banks from Evangel Christian last year in the playoffs. The coaches left him alone on an island and he shut Banks down. If you saw Banks play you know how good he is - and he (Banks) is tough b/c he's tall and fast....

Yes. That argument doesn't work in JM's case, because USC actually had a deeper stable of running backs when he signed with them (although not as good, IMO). If competition was a concern, he would have signed elsewhere.

I agree I felt he would have played some last year, and competed for top spot this year. Special kid, should be fun to watch this year. I just wanted to get a feel of what everyone else thought really. I will say this though. As much as it sucks not getting a RB of his caliber, I think we will be just fine with the RB we have. So what I am saying is, It sucks but it doesnt really hurt us. Not when we cont. to recruit top RB in the nation. I wish him well, he still represents LA.
