No leaders, just got embarrassed, 3 losses on the year.

I agree in that I suspect that the team is a politically active unit that doesn't care for the political comments of the HC and the political disposition of most of the LSU money-spending fan base.
These are Revolutionary Times in which Politics are paramount. Yes, there are "external leaders" that are poisoning the program, and these external leaders are political in nature.

it's ironic that so many young black men like and support trump because he doesn't take them for granted, and actually implements practical policies so they have more opportunity for a better life. some polls indicate trump is getting a lot of this vote.

A little younger than you, but not much! We have both seen a lot of football and they are as bad as I have witnessed in many a year. This is on the coaches in my opinion. They are not ready to play, very little desire to hit. Soft. Very very disappointed in the “look” of this team

Trump has absolutely earned that vote.
However, my theory still stands in that IMHO the young men on the LSU football team are very much Anti-Trump and Anti-Trump Supporters - which means that they don't like the LSU fanbase, because that fanbase and the state of La. is MAGA. If your football players don't like you, they won't play hard for you or put out much effort to please you. They are too "Woke" for that kind of stuff.
PS It's totally appropriate to discuss politics in a Sports thread, because Leftist Politics has injected itself into every single aspect of our lives.
