Let me ask y'all a question,do you think coach o is going to listen people who wants him to get rid of pelini just because you want him to.y'all really don't know what it takes to learn a defense. First you need the right players,which takes recruiting them.2nd,u need time to learn the defense which usually takes at least a year or more.3rd, it takes patiense

Plus there was no spring practice to get it installed. This most likely led to all of the confusion of duties the first few games. What concerned me most was his inability to go from man to man to zone when we were getting torched on crossing routs by Miss State. His in game adjustments were much better against S.C. so I feel a little better about salvaging this season.

If it takes more than a full season to install a defense in college you're a failure as a college coach. You have these guys for 3-5 years and usually 2 years as actual starters. Taking 2 years to install a defense is mathematically a failure by default in college.
