Saban get Thomas
O gets Bech

Saban get Ryan
O gets Langios

No disrespect to the 2 that we get but We lost 2 studs to Bama.

We have got to stop the bleeding; Not hating on the coaches but when both of these guys are basically in your backyard and you can’t get them to commit???

Come on Man!!!

This isn’t the first time Saban got recruits from here that we wanted and yet somehow the program had the greatest season in college football history in 2019

For years on this board all we've read is that we just need to get over the hump. We just need to beat Alabama and flip the script, and once we do that, the fence will go up, perspectives will change, and we'll be able to keep the in-state players that we want.

Well, we did that in spectacular fashion last year en route to an undefeated season and a national title. And yet, here we are, 10 months later, about to lose two of the top three players in the state of Louisiana to Alabama.

Bech played Thomas’ team in Week 2.

Bech 2-89 TD

Thomas 9-45 TD

STM won 61-7

I’ll take Bech

LSU had the greatest season without Sopsher, Surtain, and Moses.

Until Saban retires, things will continue

2019 was awesome and happy it did, but you’re kidding yourself if you think they don’t grab 2 NCs in the next 5 years......what are LSUs chances?

Just don’t kid yourselves.

I have to wonder what tipped the scales for both of these kids. I refuse to believe o and staff got outworked despite the rumor going around. Replacing Thomas with Bech is not a bad trade off at all, we just don’t have anyone to replace Sage with. I said earlier that I think he’s as close to Laron Landry as I’ve seen since Landry himself.

How much different would our team look like this year with Dylan Moses, Chris Allen, Devonta Smith, and Patrick Surtain?

Tip the scales?

Bama is a dynasty with the greatest college coach in history. And, believe it or not, Tide boosters/alums take far better care of their own than LSUs do......hey, but maybe Ruff Stuff will cut a guy a break on a brunch bill.

It’s sad to say that many colleges have much much better alumni support than LSU. Don’t even bring up aTm......I am happy to have my kids become Aggies. They’ll take care of them.

A lot better but Saban can only win with big players advantage.

How about consistency. You can’t follow up a championship year with poor hires and losing to two sec bottom feeders.

let not be dumb. Bech very well might be a great player, but Thomas is the superior player. anything said otherwise is just dumb.

A lot of Thomas’s ranking is based on upside. He’s Malachi dupre. He could turn into a monster but just as easily be a dud. Never seen him take over a game against a good opponent. Chris Hilton on the other hand has done it on the biggest stages. Ditto to bech. There’s something to be said about that.

The problem isnt saban getting the recruits cause sometimes you can't stop it.

The problem is not having a high caliber player as a replacement.
I'm speaking generally here.
No hate against bech.
I think he is a great receiver and every great offense needs someone like him
