Iowa wanted to play more than O$U did, remember the first vote had the Buckeyes president voting no until she got serious backlash.
She was the incoming President and did not participate in the first vote, her predecessor did.

I think every conference is trying to play too many games. They all should have started the first week of September and tried to play 8 or so with all the bye weeks as needed, and leave the open weeks at the end of the season
The move should have been to just punt on the playoffs and make a conference championship weekend on new year's day. Give everyone a few weeks to back fill make up games and what not as well.
There was too much money involved with the bowls and playoffs for something like that to happen. A long with no centralized planning.

Either way they voted no.

No they didn't.
New president was part of the process the whole time. Ohio State's position the entire time was to delay the start of the season to late September / early October. They never voted to postpone until 2021.

Was the was worst possible outcome for tOSU and any team with draft eligible talent.
Not to.mention we were almost certainly going to have more cases in the winter and be in worse spot. The spring thing was just a carrot on a stick.

it's almost like if they started playing their schedule in early september with multiple bye weeks built in to the schedule to protect themselves from this exact scenario, they'd be fine.
morons
Bingo. Also would've avoided some of the "fall wave" of cases.

Rumor is 22 badger players went to a wedding on saturday and probably picked up the rona at that. They should forfeit this game.

What should happen is every state with a Republican governor should show the Marxist administrators and chancellor's the door. Immediately.

Turns out Wisconsin made the decision to shut down themselves. I guess the positive numbers put them in the orange/red category, which doesn't automatically shut down a program.
If that's really the case, they should have to forfeit.

Not a bad idea since the game is already cancelled. Trying to stem the tide to avoid the hard 7 day shut down.
