Will there ever be a law that prohibits politicians from lying?

It has gotten way out of hand! Is it this bad across the globe?
Politicians, the media, and pollsters should be held accountable for misleading the public, especially during election cycles.
Lying is not illegal, unless you are under oath..... but it should be for the people and organizations that have are responsible for leading our country and reporting the news!

Albert Jones used to run for office in Louisiana on a platform of requiring all candidates to take a lie detector test.

Nope, too many sheep out there that aren't smart enough to know what is fact and what is fiction. Feelings are all they care about and the advice of "entertainers".

Yup, it's called the First Ammendment, but that law will never be upheld as our journalists are propagandists.

Gone are the days where jornalist loved to investigate for 'truth'. Now, it is only investigation for their side's story, even if it relies on untruth. Who can forget CNN & MSNBC stating "the walls are closing in on Trump" based on the phony Russian collusion b.s...

There's no such thing as a "lie detector". A polygraph examines how sincere and truthful someone is and whether or not they intend to deceive, but doesn't detect lies.

It’s pretty crazy for sure. Trump does a lot of exaggeration and embellishments but I just listened to Obammy about two hours ago just fricking lie unchecked for damn near an hour.....it was sickening. There will be no fact checking on Obammy unlike the fact checking against Trump which never ends.
