My parents were polled in North Carolina last night

Talked to my dad this morning and he said they were polled on the phone last night for the first time this election cycle. I asked my dad what he told them and he chuckled, “Biden of course. I’m not getting on their shite list.”

Polls are one thing. I decided to vote absentee to try to screw up how many dead people would have to vote to give our District to the Dims. My wife and I mailed our ballots same time, same place. Hers was received by the County Clerk Court October 23rd. She even got an email on it. I called today. Mine has yet to be.
She is registered Democrat voting straight R.
I am registered Republican. Hmmmm.

I was polled locally a couple months back, and I was surprised that they had my full name and address. I can absolutely see why in this violent climate MAGAs would lie to the pollsters.

In all seriousness..in NC as well, and while my cell phone (with a MS#) is getting hammered with texts from both sides of the senate and prez race, I’ve not been called by a pollster.
If I was, I’d say Biden.
I figure if Biden has a lead in the polls, his potential voters become complacent and might not vote. It should also energize the Lazy part of trumps base to go vote.

Had a buddy text me this morning with a Tweet from some guy. He said the election is over. I told him that I just believe Trump supporters and Trump the candidate have officially broken the Polling system. I don't know if he'll win, but I don't know if they'll ever be able to rely on polling data for a national election ever again after Trump.

I mean.. there's a 50/50 chance that the firm doing the polling is a Democrat firm or Democrat leaning firm. If they're calling ya and get your name right, then they already have your information.. so if ya tell them you're maga, then you probably get added to one of the many lists that far leftists use to harass trump supporters.

I actually did get a call from (supposedly) a pollster 2 weeks ago. Thought about lyin'-Biden to them, but I figured why should I give them any info at all, I don't really know who they are. I hung up. One less Trump vote for them to count maybe.
I'm not really paranoid they anyone will try to get back at me, but what's in it for me? Why should I help some pollster, when I don't really think polls are helping anyone? The only poll that counts is election day.
