Seems like a problem for LSU and the contractor that they let someone work for them with a very recent criminal record.

Maybe Gary's library books were overdue and he needed some money to pay the fines? He asked the older gentleman to spot him $10.00 and the older gentleman slipped while taking out his wallet and busted his head. It's all very logical.

A thought: the last 2 BAMA games at LSU I had no tickets but paid guys at the gate $200 to get in.
Clearly they're not hiring the best people.
