I agree - I believe it (but that may be because it is easy to believe bad things about people you KNOW have done other bad things) But I will not base any opinions on it until I see something more concrete.
However that ideal puts all conservatives at a disadvantage in the current political era. ANYTHING that is bad about conservatives is shouted in the news, continually elaborated on with further 'suppositions' of wrong-doing, and never allowing any contrary facts or opinions to reach the surface.
It is a one-sided game we are in.
