DU real-time melt this election or will they be knocked offline again?

I was remiss that I could not see the real-time melt over at Democratic Underground in 2016 since they were taken offline by a DDOS attack on their archaic website.
Will they be online this year?
Lots of optimism over there now.

Same as you. I too went over to DU out of curiosity on Election Night 2016 to see how their reaction was unfolding, but they were hit by a server attack and they didn't return for days.

There is just as good of a chance that there is a massive melt on here on election night.
Some of you need to prepare yourselves for a possible Trump loss.
I’ll eat crow if he wins, but some of you sound like the Hillary sycophants from 2016.
“Landslide!”
“Biden has no chance!”
It is eerily similar.

I'm just not seeing it.
The same players that were predicting a Hillary landslide are saying the same things again this year for Sleepy Joe.
The one pollster who came close to getting it right (Trafalgar) is using the same methods and predicting a Trump win.
Fraud is a real possibility but I'm hoping the margin will make up for it.
What are the Dems selling that people are buying? Higher taxes? More masks? More shutdowns? No oil jobs? Citizenship for all illegals?

They best tech and coder went to Twitter, Facebook, Youtube and mother social media tech. Really Twitter is the new Democrat Underground.

The only reason there would be a melt here is bc of all the "uncounted" votes and votes allowed to come in bc their states ruled it allowed.
The Dems are going to try to steal key areas in key states. Count on it in FL, MI, PA, and WI.

Yeah it is a goofy site, looks like Compuserve from 1992 or something.
With that said, and no offense to Chicken, TD isn't a technological marvel ether...

Only thing they have is OMB.

They won’t be offline this time. They’ll all rally behind “it’ll take a week to count all the mail in’s.”

At least during last election, the majority of people “really” didn’t expect Trump to win.
I didn’t expect Trump to win.
It was a massive underdog type of event.
This time, everyone sounds like Hillary supporters before their massive melt.
We have no idea how this is going to go down.
I’m just happy we at least get ACB.

The site wasn’t hacked, omahasteve and earlg purposely disabled the site in order to hide the epic meltdown of its users.

This is what I've been saying. For all the criticism about how Hillary supporters were overconfident heading into the election last time, this board is even worse. Clinton voters at least had legit reason to be so confident; the polls suggested they'd win. Whereas here Trump is trailing Biden and yet people here are convinced not only that Trump will pull an Appalachian State vs. Michigan again, but that Trump will win in a landslide.

Because 2016 made it absolutely clear that the MSM polls are doctored to arrive at the desired outcome the pollster wants.
Again, the one pollster who got it right in 2016 is singing the same tune again.
How can Biden be leading by so much when 52% of the country approves of the President?
Some of those loons over at DU are predicting Texas going Blue? It's fricking hogwash. Travis County will be blue but Austin, Tx isn't representative of the entire state.

Here's one poor bastard who is living on borrowed time over there.

In an earlier post, I spoke about my trip to Florida in early October...
Rightly or wrongly, I see yard signs and bumper stickers as metrics for enthusiam. Rally attendance is another measure.
Biden doesn't need Florida, but a loss in Florida for Trump means he's toast.
Granted I was in north Florida, a more conservative area. I saw two Biden signs in the Mandarin section of Jax. I lost count of the number of Trump signs, flags, and bumper a tickers. We were around a few marinas and Trump flags flying from masts was common.
We saw many Trump 2020 face masks. I never saw one for Biden.
I can confidently say Trump voters in Florida are more enthusiastic for election.
When I socialized over dinner and drinks a few times, I was asked things were shaping up in Arkansas. It's about the same here too--tons of yard signs, billboards, bumper stickers, boat parade rallies, and a couple autoclub drives with flags, window paint, etc. And nightly, he draws 10s of thousands at rallies
Where I am most concerned for the next 9 days is enthusiasm. Trump's voters are showing tangibly they are enthused. They will get the turnout, but will they append new groups to their coalition?
I don't see enthusiasm for Biden, or at least any that's sustainable and authentic. And those rallies with 10 to 20 voters in painted circles...well justified....are a buzzkill. Joe and Kamala have to be let down.
This will be a turnout election, and we need voters very eager to show up. And flying their Biden flags!
Trump seems to be having fun...and that draws voters. Biden needs to do it too!

That's correct. You remember how he had been begging for donations to keep the sight running but DU is actually on a UNIX server in his basement. He shut It all down after the loss in order to protect his "revenue stream."
Rex would be considered a Trump supporter by their standards, and Steve milked them like cows for serious cash.

Bingo. One would hope and pray the majority of the American public is not THAT stupid.
